As part of some 3D modeling courses, I was given the challenge of designing something that could be made out a single sheet of plywood and cost less than $100 to make. I decided on a multi-use table that would lend itself well to board games. I designed its arbitrary shape to challenge the “one sheet” requirement, and gave it two levels, to allow for drink and snacks to be out of harms way (it’s meant to be used while sitting on the floor):
